DRY PRODUCTS FOR DUST CONTROL:

Calso98:*“Calso98 is no longer produced nor is it commercially available.  It was a great product but things have changed.  We obtained this product as a by-product of magnesium metal production from Norsk Hydro.  They have closed the production facility in Quebec and this product is currently unavailable.  Please check back for any update or changes should we have Calso98 available to us again perhaps with a new plant or owner.”  We do have by-product Magnesium Chloride anhydrous available at VERY competitive prices on the West Coast, but the problem with Anhydrous MgCl2 is that it is too reactive in the anhydrous form to use for typical dust applications.

Calcium Chloride: Offered in flake form, this tried and true dust suppressant contains 77% active ingredients. Pre-wetting the road is suggested for best results.

Magnesium Chloride: Offered in flake form, this dust suppressant contains half the chlorides of competing products, brines quickly without wetting, and is environmentally preferred in sensitive watershed and wetland areas.

Packaging: All dry products are available in 2,205 lb (one metric ton) Super Sacks and in smaller 50 lb bags.

LIQUID PRODUCTS FOR DUST CONTROL:

SolNat: Offered in liquid concentrations as high as 37%, this natural form of calcium chloride is 100% pure from nature. Highly effective and economical, SolNat is harvested from brine wells in Quebec.

Calcium Chloride: Offered in liquid concentrations up to 40%, this tried and true dust suppressant is the same chemical as the flake.

Magnesium Chloride: Offered in 31% liquid form, this environmentally preferred compound is used in sensitive watershed and wetland areas and in places where workers prefer the therapeutic effects of this natural compound from the Great Salt Lake and Dead Sea.

Packaging: All liquid products are sold in bulk only. We do offer drums and tote tanks through our network of distributors, but drum quantities of these products are generally not economical when compared to using dry products to make up needed solutions.
